Winnipeg police are asking the public for help to identify a suspect in the stabbing death of a 23-year-old man one year ago.

Leo Amos Caribou, 23, died in hospital after he was found injured and unresponsive on Notre Dame Avenue, near Carlton Street, on May 14, 2024. 

In an update Wednesday, police said they believe he was confronted by an unidentified male at the back of a multi-unit residence in the first block of Isabel Street, where he was stabbed. He ran south down a back lane toward Notre …
