CBC NewsManitoba's police watchdog is looking for a person they say witnessed the interaction between Winnipeg police and a 24-year-old man who was fatally shot by officers at the Unicity Shopping Centre.
The shooting happened Sunday night outside a bus shelter in the parking lot, when officers fired at a man they said had stabbed an officer in the throat before guns were drawn.
Jordan Charlie, 24, from Taloyoak, Nunavut, was taken to hospital, where he later died.
